Conversion Rate Optimization

Turn the traffic you have into pipeline

Conversion rate optimization is the discipline of finding where visitors hesitate and proving — with controlled tests — what actually moves them to act. MarkAge360 runs CRO as a programme: heatmaps and session replay expose friction, structured A/B and multivariate tests run until results are statistically real, and the winners ship to bank durable gains in conversion rate and revenue per visit.

CRO approach

We don't guess at conversion — we prove it.

Higher conversion isn't a redesign hunch — it's a hypothesis tested against real behaviour. Heatmaps, session replay, and funnel data expose where visitors hesitate; structured A/B and multivariate tests run until the result is statistically real, not lucky; then the winners ship to bank durable gains in conversion rate and revenue per visit.

Hypothesize

Heatmaps, session replay, and funnel data expose where visitors hesitate and the highest-leverage things to change — so every test starts from evidence, not opinion.

Test

Structured A/B and multivariate tests split traffic evenly and run until results are statistically real — we ship a winner at 95% confidence, not on a lucky day.

Lift

The winning variant ships to 100% of traffic and the gain is banked — a durable lift in conversion rate and revenue per visit, then the next hypothesis enters the queue.

HYPOTHESIZE

Selected work

From friction to lift, wemake pages convert for revenue.

Behavioural research, hypotheses, experiment design, statistics, and post-test reporting stay connected while the CRO work scrolls past.

+

Funnel Diagnosis & Friction Audit

Analytics, heatmaps, session replay, and form analytics expose where visitors hesitate, exit, or fail to convert — ranked by lost revenue.

+

Hypotheses & Test Roadmap

Each friction point becomes a falsifiable hypothesis, sized for impact and effort, and queued into a prioritised experiment roadmap.

+

Experiment Design & QA

A/B and multivariate variants are built, instrumented, and QA'd across devices so the only thing that differs is the thing under test.

+

Statistical Analysis & Significance

Tests run to a pre-set sample and 95% confidence — we call winners on real significance, not on a good-looking early reading.

Ship Winners & Compound Learnings

Winning variants roll out to 100% of traffic; every result — win or flat — is documented so the next page starts smarter.

Conversion Rate Optimization FAQ

The questions buyers askbefore they start to convert.

Straight answers on what CRO includes, how testing is priced, and how we prove a lift is real before it ships.

What does a conversion rate optimization programme actually include?

CRO is a continuous programme, not a one-off redesign. We start with a funnel diagnosis — analytics, heatmaps, session replay, and form analytics — to find where visitors hesitate or drop off, then turn each friction point into a testable hypothesis. From there we design, build, and QA the experiments, run them to significance, ship the winners to 100% of traffic, and document every result so the next test starts smarter.

How is CRO priced, and what does it cost?

Most CRO engagements at MarkAge360 are a monthly retainer scoped to your traffic volume and test velocity — how many experiments we can realistically run and reach significance on each month. Lower-traffic sites get fewer, higher-leverage tests; high-traffic sites can run a faster cadence. We can also run a fixed-scope diagnostic and roadmap as a starting point, and we share pricing once we understand your traffic, conversion goals, and the tools already in place.

How long before a CRO test produces a reliable result?

It depends on traffic and how big the effect is — a test needs enough visitors and conversions to reach a pre-set sample size at 95% confidence. Pages with steady traffic often resolve a test in two to four weeks; lower-traffic or low-conversion funnels take longer. We never call a winner on an early, good-looking reading, because results that look strong on day three often regress once the full sample lands.

How is CRO different from just redesigning the page?

A redesign replaces the whole page on a hunch and hopes it performs better — with no way to know which change helped or hurt. CRO changes one thing at a time against a live control, so every lift is measured and attributable. You keep what wins, discard what doesn't, and avoid the common trap of a beautiful relaunch that quietly drops conversions.

Which testing and analytics tools do you use?

We work with the experimentation and behaviour tools that fit your stack — platforms such as VWO, Optimizely, Convert, or GA4-based experiments for split testing, and Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar for heatmaps and session replay. We use what you already license where we can, and recommend the right fit where there's a gap, so you're not paying for tooling you don't need.

How do you measure success and ROI from CRO?

The headline metric is the lift in conversion rate — and, where it's the truer business measure, revenue per visit — on the variants we ship to full traffic. We report every experiment, including flat and losing tests, because knowing what doesn't move the needle protects you from shipping it. Over a programme, the compounding wins from page after page are what build a durable, measurable return.
