UI / UX Design & Experience Strategy

Interfaces people understand at a glance

UI/UX design is the practice of researching how people think, mapping the journey, and shaping every screen so a product is obvious to use and satisfying to return to. MarkAge360 designs research-led, accessible, conversion-focused interfaces — user research, journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, motion, and a tokenised design system delivered as one practice.

UX design approach

We design around how people actually decide.

We design with intent — grounded in research, guided by behaviour, and aligned to the job a product has to do. User research, journey mapping, interface design, and design-system thinking run as one workflow, so every screen we ship is clear on first use, accessible by default, and built to convert and compound.

Empathise & research

We study users, tasks, behaviour, feedback, and friction points to understand what the experience really needs to solve.

Structure & wireframe

We map journeys, information architecture, content hierarchy, and wireframes so every screen has a clear role and path to action.

Ship & design system

We turn validated flows into polished UI, reusable components, states, specs, and design rules that keep the product consistent.

EMPATHISE

Selected work

From insight to interface, wemake products feel obvious.

Research, information architecture, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and the design system stay connected while the design work scrolls past.

+

UX Research & Audience Brief

Interviews, task audits, behavioural data, and friction logs become a one-page problem statement the whole team can argue with.

+

Information Architecture & User Flows

Sitemaps, IA, and flows for discovery, onboarding, conversion, and recovery are drawn before a single pixel is styled.

+

Interactive Prototypes & Validation

Clickable flows put real decisions in front of real users, so the team disagrees on a screen — not a paragraph.

+

High-Fidelity UI & Motion

Type, colour, spacing, iconography, and micro-interactions are tuned to the brand and tested for clarity on real screens.

Design System & Engineering Handoff

Tokens, components, accessibility states, and specs are handed to engineering as one consumable, versioned source of truth.

Encardio Rite case study Infrastructure · B2B Encardio Rite Encardio Rite had decades of geotechnical engineering authority the internet could barely see. MarkAge360 built an integrated SEO, content and executive-branding system that grew monthly organic traffic from around 800 to as many as 70,000, with page-one visibility across five markets: India, the USA, the UK, the UAE and Australia. Apple Switchers Campaign case study Consumer · Brand campaign Apple Switchers Campaign Apple wanted non-Apple users across India's metros to reconsider iPhone. MarkAge360 ran a video-led brand campaign that showed what the Apple experience offers and how easy switching can be. Acton Service Centre case study Automotive Marketing Acton Service Centre Five years running every marketing channel for a West London MOT and service garage, and building the software behind it. UI/UX Design FAQ

Answers beforeyou design

Straight answers on research, prototypes, design systems, and the outcomes good UX is meant to move.

What does a UI/UX design engagement actually include?

We run UI/UX design as one practice rather than a stack of handoffs. A typical engagement covers user research, journey and information-architecture mapping, wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity interface design, motion, and a tokenised design system with documented components and states. You get the validated thinking behind every screen — not just the final pixels.

How is UI/UX design priced?

We price by scope and depth of research, not by a per-screen rate. After a short discovery we scope the work into clear phases — research, structure, and high-fidelity design plus system — so you can see what each stage costs and start where the risk is highest. Fixed-scope projects and ongoing design-partner retainers are both options depending on how much you plan to ship.

How long does a UI/UX project take?

A focused flow or single product surface usually takes a few weeks; a full product redesign with research, a design system, and multiple journeys runs longer. We work in short cycles and share progress continuously, so you see wireframes and prototypes early instead of waiting for one big reveal. We’ll give you a realistic timeline tied to your scope before we start.

What’s the difference between UI and UX design?

UX is the structure — the research, journeys, information architecture, and flows that decide whether a product makes sense to use. UI is the surface — the visual design, typography, components, and motion that make it clear and pleasant. We treat them as one job, because a beautiful interface over a broken flow still loses users, and a logical flow with no craft feels untrustworthy.

Which design tools do you work in?

We design and prototype in Figma, build shared, tokenised design systems your engineers can pull from directly, and validate with usability testing and analytics tools. We work alongside your existing component library or codebase where one already exists, so the design system we deliver maps cleanly to how your product is actually built.

How do you make sure the design is accessible?

Accessibility is built in from wireframes, not bolted on at the end. We design to WCAG contrast and target-size guidance, define focus states and keyboard paths, structure content for screen readers, and document these rules inside the design system so they survive into engineering. The result is a product that’s usable for more people and easier to keep compliant as it grows.
