Graphic & Motion Design

Where design starts to move

Graphic and motion design is where a brand stops sitting still. We build the static layer — key visuals, infographics, social templates, and a brand asset system on a real composition grid — then set it in motion: animated logos, explainers, kinetic type, and scroll-stopping social motion. MarkAge360 designs the frame and the timeline together, so the same idea reads instantly as a poster and plays beautifully as a six-second loop, exported clean for MP4, Lottie, GIF, and every social ratio.

Motion approach

We compose a graphic, then watch it start to move.

Motion is not an effect bolted onto a finished graphic — it is designed into it. We compose the layout on a real grid, resolve the brand graphic in shape, type, and colour, then lay a motion timeline over it: keyframes, easing curves, property tracks. The graphic plays as you scroll, and in the final phase it exports across every format — MP4, Lottie, GIF, and social ratios. Compose, design, keyframe, animate, and deliver run as one build, so the still and the motion are the same idea.

Compose on a real grid

Every graphic starts as composition — a layout grid, a focal shape, balance and hierarchy. We block the frame the way it will read as a poster, a thumbnail, and a first frame, all at once.

Design the brand graphic

The composition resolves into a finished graphic — shape, type, and colour pulled from the brand system, so the still already carries the personality the motion will amplify.

Lay the motion timeline

We open a timeline over the graphic — keyframe diamonds, easing curves, and property tracks for position, scale, and opacity — so movement is choreographed, not improvised.

Animate — and scroll to scrub it

The graphic plays. A logo reveal, kinetic type, shapes transforming on the easing you set — and on this page your scroll literally drives the playback, frame by frame, the way an editor scrubs a comp.

Deliver across every format

Finally we export it everywhere it has to live — MP4, Lottie, GIF, and every social ratio — and the colour paints in across the kit, so one motion idea ships clean for feed, story, web, and screen.

Selected work

From a static frame to abrand that moves.

Key visuals, motion systems, animated logos, and social cutdowns stay connected while the work scrolls past — composed on a grid, animated on a timeline, shipped for every format.

+

Brief & Style Frames

We pin down the message, the platforms, and the feel — then design style frames that lock the look before a single keyframe is set.

+

Graphic System & Assets

The static layer — key visuals, infographics, social templates, and a brand asset kit on a real composition grid, all on-system and reusable.

+

Storyboard & Animatic

We board the motion and cut a timed animatic so the pacing, beats, and transitions are signed off before full animation begins.

+

Animation & Sound

Animated logos, kinetic type, and shape transforms built on real easing — scored, sound-designed, and rendered to a polished master.

Export & Handoff

Mastered and exported across formats — MP4, Lottie, GIF, and every social ratio — packaged with source files so any team can deploy it.

Graphic & Motion Design FAQ

Questions beforedesign starts to move

Straight answers on what graphic and motion design covers, how it is priced and timed, and how we ship one idea clean for every format.

What does graphic and motion design include?

We cover both the static and the moving layer. On the graphic side that means key visuals, infographics, social templates, and a reusable brand asset system built on a real composition grid. On the motion side it means animated logos, explainers, kinetic type, and scroll-stopping social motion — designed so the same idea reads instantly as a poster and plays beautifully as a short loop.

How is graphic and motion design priced?

We scope by deliverable and complexity, not by guesswork. A single animated logo or a set of social templates is quoted as a fixed package, while ongoing creative is usually a monthly retainer with an agreed number of static and motion assets. Before any work starts you get a clear list of what you are getting, in which formats, and how many rounds of revisions are included.

How long does a motion design project take?

A focused piece — an animated logo or a single social motion ad — typically runs one to two weeks from brief to final export. A longer explainer or a full template system with motion usually takes three to five weeks because it adds scripting, design rounds, and keyframing. We share a timeline up front and flag anything — like waiting on brand assets or copy — that could move the date.

What is the difference between static graphics and motion design?

Static graphics are the still frame — a poster, an infographic, a social tile that has to read in an instant. Motion design adds the timeline on top: reveals, kinetic type, and transitions that pull attention and explain things a still cannot. We design them together rather than animating a finished graphic as an afterthought, so the still and the motion are the same idea expressed two ways.

Which tools and formats do you design and deliver in?

We design in the standard professional stack — Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for graphics, After Effects for motion, and Lottie for lightweight web animation. Every deliverable ships in the formats it has to live in: MP4 for video, Lottie or animated SVG for web, GIF for messaging, and cleanly sized exports for each social ratio. You also keep editable source files so the work can be updated later.

How do you keep motion on-brand across formats?

We pull shape, type, and colour from your existing brand system, and where motion rules do not yet exist we define them — signature easing, timing, and entrance behaviour — so animation feels like your brand and not a generic template. The same composition is then exported across feed, story, web, and screen, and MarkAge360 checks each ratio so nothing crops awkwardly or drifts off-brand from one format to the next.
