Automotive & mobility growth system

From interest to test drive

We build demand systems for automotive and mobility brands — dealers, fleets and transport operators — turning high-intent research into test drives, qualified enquiries and booked capacity.

It doesn't feel like an agency we hired. It feels like our marketing department. They run everything, they know our numbers better than we do, and the phone keeps ringing.

Automotive FAQ

Questions we get asked about automotive marketing

What this costs, which channels carry the category, how long it takes, and what we report on when the usual metrics do not fit.

How do car dealerships generate leads online?

With a small number of offers that give an in-market shopper a reason to act now — test drive, trade-in valuation, finance eligibility — routed to a CRM that answers fast. Industry data is blunt on the second half: response inside a few minutes converts at a multiple of response within an hour. Most dealership lead problems are follow-up problems wearing a marketing costume.

What does an automotive lead cost?

Third-party automotive leads commonly run in the low hundreds of dollars, and they are sold to your competitors at the same time. Owned demand — local search, your own inventory pages, your own brand terms — costs less per sale and does not arrive pre-shopped. We build the owned channel first and use third-party volume to fill gaps, not as the base of the funnel.

How important is local SEO for a dealership?

It is the highest-return channel most dealer groups underinvest in. Car buying is geographically bounded, so a complete Google Business Profile, per-location pages, inventory indexed properly and an active review practice capture demand that already exists in your catchment. Paid search then covers the models and moments where organic cannot reach.

How do you market aftersales and service, not just vehicle sales?

As a lifecycle programme rather than a campaign. Service is predictable revenue on a known interval, which makes it the easiest part of a dealership to market well: reminder journeys keyed to purchase date and mileage, a booking path that works on a phone, and retention measured on service absorption. It also produces the trade-in that becomes the next sale.

Does digital marketing work for commercial vehicles and fleet?

Yes, but as B2B. Fleet is a considered purchase with a procurement process, total-cost-of-ownership maths and several approvers, so it behaves like industrial marketing rather than retail automotive: specification content, TCO evidence and a longer pipeline. Running fleet on a retail playbook is the standard mistake in this category.

What should dealership marketing measure?

Cost per sold unit by source, lead-to-appointment rate, appointment-to-show rate, and service absorption. Lead volume and website traffic sit underneath those. A campaign that doubles leads while show rate halves has done nothing except make the CRM busier.
